Do you have any travel plans this summer?
I just was in Italy for one of my best friends' weddings, which was the most magical week in Florence and Umbria. I am home the rest of the summer busy with work—but I actually just moved, so I am enjoying being in a new space while working on some amazing projects, having BBQs, and enjoying beach days on the weekends.
What’s your approach to self-care while traveling?
I am such a routine and homebody person—I have to bring all of my favorite products when traveling to feel more at home. I love to bring a face mask to do at some point if I have down time, too. When traveling, I try to keep my self-care routine the same as when I’m home.
Are you more of a packing minimalist or maximalist?
I think I can be both, but I try to be really good about planning my outfits beforehand if it’s a longer trip. I definitely like to bring my pajamas and sweats no matter where I'm going, even if it takes up too much room in my suitcase.
As a founder, what’s one lesson you always come back to?
I always treat my clients how I would want to be treated in this process. Interior design for your home is such a long, tedious, and expensive process. I try to put my clients first and want to create a good service for them. There are always hiccups in the road, but I want to make my clients happy and present them with solutions instead of problems.
Is summer a time for you to slow down—or do it all?
Usually summer is a bit slower, with people really getting into fixing up their homes in the fall. But this summer has been the busiest one I’ve ever had—and I love it! I am so focused on all the projects I have right now and I feel so lucky for the clients I currently have.
