Oak Advisory Council

Six women’s health and wellness experts assembled to offer support
that goes beyond your skin.

It all started with a simple belief:
That women deserve better conversations around aging.

Featuring six experts across dermatology, women's health, aesthetics, and wellness, the Oak Advisory Council offers support that goes beyond skin deep, across all stages of life from pregnancy through menopause and everything after.

Board-certified Dermatologist

Dr. Melissa K. Levin

Passionate about empowering women to feel confident in their skin at every age, Dr. Levin translates complex dermatology into practical, personalized guidance — helping patients achieve healthy, resilient skin for the long term. As CEO and Founding Medical Director of Entière Dermatology and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, she brings both deep clinical expertise and a holistic, whole-patient philosophy to the Oak Advisory Council.

Double Board-Certified OB/GYN & Longevity Medicine Physician

Dr. Sarah De La Torre

Specializing in perimenopause, menopause, and women’s longevity, Dr. De La Torre has 25 years of clinical experience helping women understand the connection between hormones, metabolism, and how they feel in their bodies during midlife. Known for translating complex science into practical, actionable guidance, she helps empower women to take control of their health and thrive in midlife and beyond.

Licensed EstheticianFacialist & Lymphatic Specialist

Julia Barna

As an esthetician whose holistic approach to wellness underlies every treatment, Julia’s hands-on expertise tells us what no lab test can: how a product actually feels, performs, and integrates into a real treatment. As an Oak Essentials skincare advisor for several years, she brings esthetician-level protocol knowledge to the Council.

Integrative Dietitian & Menopause Expert

Esther Blum

With a 30-year career as a functional medicine dietitian and certified nutrition specialist, Esther Blum helps women in midlife get the care they deserve. Her work is constantly advancing the menopause conversation to help women understand how this stage of life impacts their whole-body health.

Licensed Psychotherapist & Wellness Educator

Kasey Crown

With a BA in Philosophy and post-graduate training in interpersonal neurobiology, Crown has two decades of clinical experience working to heal trauma, repair relationships, and bring people into alignment with who they truly are. As a mental health advocate, she brings emotional wellbeing into the conversation at every stage.

Doctor of Women's Health Physical Therapy

Dr. Allison Oswald

With a career centered on the pelvis as the anatomical foundation of physical and emotional well-being, Dr. Oswald understands the way hormonal changes, life stages, and wellness intersect. With experience ranging from prenatal and postpartum recovery to bladder control, anorgasmia, and intimacy support, she brings both clinical expertise and personal understanding (a mother of 3) to her work helping women build a deeper connection to their bodies at every stage.
"My vision for Oak has always been to be a trusted resource for women like me, and as the brand has grown, 'trusted' has come to mean something more specific. It means showing up with real expertise, not just beautiful products.”
