What does the formula feel like on the skin?

What role do Marine-Derived Sugar Polymers play in the formula?
Marine-Derived Sugar Polymers help brighten the skin by reducing the appearance of dark spots and softening their visible edges. Derived from sugar polymers found in the ocean off southeastern France, this ingredient is produced through blue biotechnology to create a high-molecular-weight polymer that actually sits on the surface of the skin, acting like a breathable shield. That shield helps protect against environmental stressors which can contribute to oxidative stress, and over time, hyperpigmentation and uneven tone.
