Welcome to Routine Week—a time and space dedicated to curated routines that serve a skincare purpose. Whether you're eager to target fine lines and wrinkles or are aiming to combat dull skin, we teamed up with our very own Global Skincare Ambassador Julia Barna to bring you five different routines that speak to all skin types and concerns. For our final rendition, Julia tackles a popular topic: how to create a routine for blemish-prone skin.

Step One: Pure Gel Cleanser

It’s important to keep blemish-prone skin clean and hydrated. Stripping the skin of oils signals to the body to produce even more oil, so using a gel cleanser that also replenishes hydration is crucial! This cleanser has antimicrobial compounds that clean the skin and help speed up cellular regeneration, as well as emollient qualities that keep the skin balanced.

Step Two: Nightly Retinol Serum

A gentler form of retinol, this effectively helps stimulate collagen, resurface skin, increase cell turnover, and alleviate congestion without irritation or downtime. Use on clean, dry skin in the evening to encourage cellular turnover, promoting clearer, brighter skin.

Step Three: Balancing Mist

An antioxidant-rich and multi-tasking mist that can be used throughout your routine to tone, hydrate, set, and refresh your body and complexion. Contains Aloe Leaf Juice which promotes cellular turnover, while also hydrating and calming the skin.

Step Four: Ritual Oil

A lightweight Vitamin-packed oil backed by the power of Blue Tansy that helps restore skin’s natural moisture barrier and soothes irritated, inflamed skin for a balanced, healthier-looking complexion. Delicate enough for the most angry skin, this oil is wonderfully moisturizing and acts on a cellular level to help reduce skin inflammation for a healthier-looking complexion.

Step Five: Restorative Mask

A deeply hydrating Organic Honey mask with Avocado Oil and Ylang Oil that’s packed with antioxidants. Gentle enzymes help speed up cellular turnover while the natural antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties of honey treat the skin and help to balance the microbiome. Use 1-2x per week correctively as well as preventative!
