What does wellness mean to you?
Wellness is everything. It’s about cultivating a deep sense of contentment from within—because true contentment leads to thriving health. Wellness extends beyond just the food we eat and how we move our bodies, although those things are undeniably important. It also encompasses what we consume mentally and emotionally, how we spend our time, and the activities that bring our souls joy. Embracing the flow of life and avoiding being stagnant are essential; staying inspired and pushing myself to grow is a top priority. Living in a state of high vibration is crucial for my well-being. Wellness embodies self-love, and the greatest expression of self-love is self-discipline. It’s about enjoying life while remaining flexible, yet being steadfast about what we allow into our lives. Wellness is a harmonious blend of mind, body, and soul, where every aspect is interconnected.
What are your beauty non-negotiables?
One of my beauty non-negotiables is ditching the alarm clock and syncing with my natural sleep cycle. I need nine hours of sleep each night to feel my best. Waking up naturally, without an alarm jolting me in the middle of a sleep cycle, helps maintain balanced cortisol levels. Balanced cortisol means a calm nervous system, which leaves me feeling at ease and keeps my skin happy. Another must: drinking 100 plus ounces of spring water every single day.
How does living in Topanga Canyon inspire your lifestyle?
Living in Topanga has brought me back to my roots. I believe that as we grow, the journey of life is about returning to ourselves. Along the way, we accumulate things we don’t need. Topanga is a place where I constantly reflect and reconnect with myself and am reminded of what truly matters. The simplicity of the canyon reflects just that, every answer we need is within us. It has transformed my approach to work greatly and helped me embrace my true self. Being immersed in nature each day—admiring the flowers, sun-dappled oak trees, and changing seasons—nourishes my soul. Although the seasons here aren’t drastic, I cherish each one for its unique moments. Topanga also has a strong artistic community which constantly keeps me inspired by everyone embracing their true gifts. My natural surroundings deeply influence my recipe creations, home design, personal style, and COLOURS products. I’ve also learned to appreciate the time it takes to travel outside of Topanga and into Los Angeles, as it infuses each trip with greater intentionality.

Tell us about your typical morning routine.
I'm all about detoxifying my body each morning. I start by scraping my tongue, then make a cup of warm lemon water to flush out toxins and bad oral bacteria, while gently stimulating my internal organs to wake up. Next, I step outside for sunlight, practice meditation, and write my morning pages. My movement routine includes either hiking, yoga, or a Pilates class. Lately, I've been loving beach walks with ocean swims; if that's not possible, a cold shower does the trick. I finish with a smoothie packed with spirulina, berries, and topped with bee pollen before diving into my workday.
How do you use Moisture Rich Balm?
I love using it on my lips overnight and waking up with them feeling hydrated and plump. It also doubles beautifully as a natural highlighter on the cheekbones. A little goes a long way!
Is hydration important in maintaining your glow?
Hydration is everything, and it goes further than just drinking clean water. I enjoy eating water-based fruits and vegetables like watermelon and cucumber, especially in the summertime. It’s so important for our cells to stay hydrated from the inside out. You could be using all the high-end skincare but if you’re not hydrating your cells from within you won’t see results.
When did you first find your passion for healthful, organic eating?
My journey with holistic living began over 10 years ago when I discovered I was anemic and felt constantly lightheaded and fatigued. This led me to explore ways to improve my well-being. Watching my dad overcome numerous health challenges through a holistic approach and organic eating showed me the importance of prioritizing health from a young age. My passion for organic eating continues to grow, and it has become one of my greatest joys in life.
How do you develop your signature recipes?
The recipes I share are ones I’ve enjoyed for a while. I don’t share one-off creations; they’re tried and true from my personal cookbook. They’re often inspired by dishes, smoothies, desserts, or elixirs—like the elixirs I enjoyed years ago at Orchard St. in Bondi, Australia. Experiences like these stick with me, and I love recreating them at home. I’ll put my own twist on these recipes until they’re just right. And many recipes are inspired by what’s in season, as I prefer to keep things simple. I’m a big fan of eyeballing ingredients and believe that cooking should be fun and easy above all else.
